Ben Mahony plays energetic modern rock with passionate intensity then waxes softly on a 12-string acoustic guitar depending on the audience in question and the feel of the venue. His recordings feature catchy post punk pop tunes and lyrics tinged with sadness, political awareness and the absurd.

Mahony was recently featured on CKRW AM in Whitehorse as the Yukon artist of the day. He has played frequently in the Yukon recently playing solo acoustic shows featuring new original material which is available for download at benmahony.com as well as at http://www.myspace.com/benmahony

A new CD-Single, “Ten Years Tomorrow” with an experimental b-side version of Marquee will be released soon.

The electrified band, "The Ben Mahony Conspiracy," is a high energy band that plays intense power pop. Dancers at folk festivals and listeners at original rock venues have been impressed by this band whose recordings are being played on commercial radio and CBC in the Yukon homeland. The recent tour enjoyed the support of both Air North and Yukon Brewery.
